Beginner Photography classes at the Ottawa Technical High School
Do you have a great Digital Camera that you shoot on fully automatic because you don't know how to utilize it's potential? Do wish you could take better photos of your kids, friends, family, pets etc? Do you wish you could make what you SEE come out in your photo the way you see it?
Brittany Veinot Photography offers a 5 week course, and the start date is determined by when we get a full group (5 or 6 people). It is a hands on class, where you learn and practice each step as you go, and learn to tie all of the functions together.
Each class is an hour long. The first half is learning the functions, and the second half is practicing putting together what you've learned, and asking questions.
You will learn about ISO, white balance, exposure adjustment, metering, aperture and shutter, and more.
The last class is a hands on, outdoor shooting day where you put together everything you've learned in a series of specific photos (portrait, motion, etc) and have me on hand to answer any questions and help you get the desired result.
Cameras typically used are either digital SLRs or “super zooms”. Basically any camera that has P (program) A or Av (aperture) and S or Tv (shutter) mode is fine for the class. If you’d like me to confirm that your camera will work for the class, please let me know what make and model it is, and I will be happy to do so.
Pricing: $250 per person. $5 off for each referral you make to your class, $25 off for 4 referrals OR you attend free when you refer 5 people! |
